New Delhi: Handset-maker Alcatel on Tuesday launched a new smartphone — Flash 2 — priced at Rs.9,299 in exclusive partnership with domestic e-commerce player Flipkart.
“Today (Tuesday) we are launching the Flash 2. The product will be available on India’s largest online platform, Flipkart, after a week,” said Praveen Valecha, regional director, Alcatel Asia Pacific region.
The phone comes with a 64-bit octa-core 1.3Ghz MediaTek processor along with the 2GB LPDDR3 RAM.
The phone houses a 13-mp AE’/2.0 rear camera accompanied by a dual-tone LED flash.
“Offering customers a superior photography experience, we are happy to announce the exclusive launch of Alcatel Flash 2 on our platform,” said Sandeep Karwa, director of retail, Flipkart.
“Designed to match the requirements of every tech savvy customer, we are confident that this new addition to our smartphone portfolio will be a big success,” Karwa said.
